Graduation dinner for my class

Starter; shrimp toast.

 Hello again!
Last time I blogged about graduation. That time it was graduation from the gymnasium, equal to your senior 6. This time it is about graduating from what we call, ground school, that is equal to your senior 3.
They are graduating on Wednesday evening next week but this Thursday night there was a dinner for all the nine graders at our school. We have nine streams of nine graders at our school and they are about 22-24 students in each stream or class as we call them. In my class there is 22 students. This evening everybody dress up and everybody looks very smart!!

 We get a tree course dinner at a restaurant. The students have to pay for the dinner themselves. This evening the menu was: shrimp toast for starter, filé of pork for main course and vanilla ice cream and strawberry for dessert. Yummie!

They also have a contest where you can win prices for example for best looking girl or smartest student or best dressed student. Pretty silly I think but the students love it!

I have been Head teacher for this class for 3 years and now they are graduating. They are now moving onward to the gymnasium in different schools all over the city. So this week is the last week they have together as a class.

I can only say Thank you! It has been an honour to be your teacher for this three years! Good luck in the future!
